Holi is a Hindu religious holiday were "colors" on thrown on each other in a type of ritual. Everywhere we looked we saw people, young and old, covered in bright red, green, yellow or blue. A part of the ritual is that the colors are thrown on any and everybody you see. People are sometimes chased and colors poured all over them. Our translator was nervous that the locals would throw colors on us as we walked through the village. If you look carefully, you'll notice Dad is bravely walking through an area where they were playing with the colors. The boys stopped, allowed us all to cross and then continued playing after we passed. Some of them even let us take their picture.
